Dr. Kristen Criado received her Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Florida, with an emphasis on pediatric psychology. She has over 20 peer-reviewed publications in journals such as Journal of Abnormal Child Psychology, Journal of Pediatric Psychology, and Pediatric Pulmonology; she has numerous presentations at national and international conferences.

Dr. Criado has worked in academic medical settings affiliated with University of Miami and Emory University. She then established Criado Psychology, a private practice specializing in supporting kids, teens, and adults with chronic and acute medical conditions as they navigate the emotional toll of diagnoses, limitations, medications, and life’s shifting expectations. She also has expertise in treating anxiety, OCD, and mood disorders. She offers services in-person in Coral Gables and virtually to all PSYPACT states.
