Jill Ehrenreich-May, Ph.D.

Jill Ehrenreich-May, Ph.D. is Professor of Psychology and Pediatrics, and the Associate Chair for Graduate Studies in the Department of Psychology at the University of Miami. Dr. Ehrenreich-May is the author of over 175 published works, including several treatment manuals, books and peer-reviewed publications. She has a particular interest in transdiagnostic interventions for youth with emotional disorders that is predicated on the rationale that such disorders have substantial phenotypic overlap and respond to similar principles of change. She is primarily known as the developer of the Unified Protocols for Transdiagnostic Treatment of Emotional Disorders in Children and Adolescents, which is the focus of her currently funded research and service grants from the National Institutes of Health, Institute of Education Sciences, The Batchelor Foundation, and the Children’s Trust. Dr. Ehrenreich-May is heavily invested in training the next generation of cognitive behavior therapists through her research and training clinic at the University of Miami, the Child and Adolescent Mood and Anxiety Treatment Program, as well as through national and international clinical training in youth cognitive behavior therapy. She is also engaged in extensive national service to the field, most recently as the 2022-2023 President of the Association for Cognitive and Behavior Therapies (ABCT).
