As a membership organization, FL-CBT values the inclusion of diverse groups from a variety of professional and educational backgrounds, and honors their views across all areas of the organization. We recognize that when people across identity groups are regarded and engaged as full participants in leadership, decision making and programs, we are able to provide resources and programs that best meet the needs of our members and the public. As such, FL-CBT leadership embraces diversity, equality and inclusiveness as core values for all members, staff, and volunteers.
Members must have a physical presence in Florida, either a home or office, in addition to a Florida license or enrollment in a Florida graduate program in mental health, and are engaged in the practice of study of evidence based treatments.
Non-clinicians, such as outreach coordinators, treatment centers, institutions and treatment coordinators, as well as non-CBT or non-resident clinicians, are welcome to join as Friends of FL-CBT.
You can get involved by attending our events or even join one of our committees!
Please contact us and let us know in the subject line if you are interested in being a part of the leadership team.
