Eva Schonfeld Reichel (she/her) is a mental health therapist at CBT of Central & South Florida, a multi-specialty group practice specializing in CBT and related evidence-based therapies.
Eva obtained her master’s degree in clinical social work (MSW) from New York University (NYU) and her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Reichman University in Israel. Prior to her studies abroad and in NYC, Eva grew up in Venezuela and Miami. Since moving back to Miami in 2021, Eva has been very passionate & involved with promoting a sense of community amongst mental health providers in South Florida.
Eva is trained in Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Pain Reprocessing Therapy (PRT) for chronic pain, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Eva has obtained specialized training in Perinatal Mood & Anxiety Disorders (PMADs) through Postpartum Support International (PSI), a nationally recognized evidence-based training program for maternal mental health. Eva also brings experience working in clinical research settings including the Youth Anxiety Center (YAC) at the Columbia University Medical Center/New York Presbyterian Hospital and CUCARD in Manhattan. Eva has co-authored published research on evidence-based treatments for anxiety, has presented her research and led clinical workshops in national conferences.
